  This is the church my family and I have attended since moving to the area a year ago. The congregants are extremely welcoming to all and made us feel at home each Sunday. There are also myriad activities for all ages but especially the youth throughout the week.

  I have now visited this meetinghouse a few times over the last year as I visit family. The members are very kind each time and the building is beautiful. It is a wonderful place to go and strengthen your testimony of Jesus Christ.

  This building serves both members and non-mormon visitors of the Des Moines neighborhoods as a place of weekly worship on Sundays and youth activities during the week days. The attendees include many curious visitors, African refugees, DMU students, and long time locals. The meetings I attend here, beginning at 11 a.m, are excellent opportunities to learn of and discuss the life and ministry of our Savior Jesus Christ. I would highly recommend to anyone that they drop by one Sunday and see what it's like.

  This church is the same church that was set up by Christ in ancient times and has been restored in our day by prophets called directly by God. It contains the authority to administer sacred ordinances, such as baptism, and teaches the words of Christ unto salvation. The sacredness of the family is at its core and every activity has the purpose of bringing families closer together and bringing individuals closer to Christ.
