  • We don't worship here, but we love our neighborhood church. They are open to everyone, and the congregation voted to embrace the LBGT community. They provide health care and dinner for people who need it once a week, and they regularly hold events open to the neighborhood--like picnics, board game nights, and plays. Our kids went to the preschool here (the preschool isn't religious), and we were very happy. We walk to the church regularly in the evenings and on weekends to use the playground (it's usually in use during the weekdays because of the school programs).

  • We found Grace online four years ago, and we were warmly welcomed when we began to attend. In addition to marvelous music and meaningful worship, we have joined Sunday School classes and Bible and book study groups. Our grandchildren have been welcomed into the nursery, Sunday School, Wesley Choir, VBS, and Super Wednesday. Grace has a real commitment to mission, in the community and beyond. New opportunities for being part of the Grace family develop very frequently. Now is an exciting time at Grace!

  • We've been attending Grace for over 23 years. Our four children have been raised in the traditions both new and old of this wonderful congregation.
We've always felt that Grace was and is a special place in the heart of the city. From pastors to staff to worshipers, Grace is a true community for Christian worship and service.
The 9 a.m Sunday Crossroads service is a great introduction to the Grace experience. The music is upbeat and lively and the message is memorable.
Our full-time Worship and Music director is not shy when it comes to "pulling out all the stops" on church holidays like Easter and Christmas. A 20-piece orchestra, hand bells and combined choruses raise the roof and lift the spirit.
Check out what Grace is all about this Sunday. You won't be disappointed.

  • My husband and I found Grace United Methodist Church by accident ...or was it not by accident? Sometimes I believe we were ment to be there. From the very first time we visited the church we felt welcome and comfortable. Grace just had this Home / Family kind of feel to it, so it is, we fell in love with the church and stayed. One of the things I like most is their professional childcare staff. I can be at worship or at Sunday School knowing that my child is having a blast in the kids zone. If you have a family (singles to) and are looking for a new church home or are just starting you walk in faith, you should Say Grace!

  • I was a member from 4th Grade through High School, along with my Mom, Dad, brothers, and sisters - was confirmed at Grace Methodist, attended MYF, and enjoyed participating in every choir (except the adult choir) and was honored to receive a hymnal engraved by Mr. Tutt- until I moved out of State. Mrs. Hubbard, my 4th grade Sunday School teacher was the kindest person I have ever known. Dr. Moats was a scholar. Rev. Lamb and Rev. Rinkle were easy to relate to and taught me everything I needed to know. Rev. Lott was an inspiration. Dr. Walker was a pillar of strength. Dr. Young married Carolyn and I, and later baptized our first son, Bill. Dr. White and his family were inspirational, as was Mr. Spong at the organ. I'll never forget, Mrs. Scott, our HS. Choir director, who passed from this earth and was loved by all.
