  Employees were very kind and compassionate but I got accurate information about VA coverage 4 the final expenses so we're unable to view our loved one before cremation

  Now last year they did provided excellent service for my 4yr child
  ..but yesterday at a African American veterans funeral was I totally blindsided and piss off that they treated the family like garbage.
  There was not 1 person from Hamilton to greet family,nor the entire service. NO one close the casket during the service,stayed open. LIKE I STATED NO ONE FROM HAMILTON FUNERAL WAS IN ATTENDANCE. Family was told only certain number of people could come (never heard that mess at any funeral home) family had bring a portable speaker to play music . rearrange seating because Hamilton decided that they were to busy and downright pure laziness to provide seatin for everyone.told family that they would be charge for water..Water!!!are you kidding me! NONE had any compassion that this beloved man had a host of grandkids.children and more that love and care for him.They were very rude to the family and just disrespectful to family and the deceased. ..He served this country and for Hamilton to treat him and his family like a dog like that they should be straight up ashamed ALL OF THEM! I Will NEVER NEVER EVER SEND ANYONE TO HAMILTON EVER.NOT EVEN MY DOG. JUST PLAIN HORRIBLE!

  If you want to be taken advantage of while you're grieving, go to Hamilton's. This place will suck what little soul you have left right out of you. Extremely dishonest group of people that lie about payments and interest. There are way better places to have your service.

  My grandpa was a veteran and with that the Veterans memorial pays for all or most of the funeral. To get these services, you can not pay any money upfront to the funeral home, and need to sign a paper saying that we have paperwork in the works with veterans memorial. There were 6 people with the lady planning the funeral and 4-5 times we said that veterans was getting the paperwork. NOT ONCE did the funeral planner at Hamiltons mention anything about a signed form we needed, but instead took the credit card (because obviously no one has $5000 on them at one time), knowing full well his military benefits would be VOIDED! We call afterwards and you know what they say? It's done, can't help you. Well, I guess they don't really care about the people they are in business with.
