  Tons to see in this cemetery! Lots of very old stones!

  This very large cemetery is located in the heart of Des Moines. It is filled with some of the most beautiful markers you'll ever find. The burials date as far back as the late 1800s, around the time of Des Moines's incorporation. There is a smaller cemetery, Saint Ambrose, just to the north, which forms a part of the greater cemetery area.
